We sang this at my father's service. (Although I then realized it was not a hymn familiar to most Southern Baptists, but those of us of other denominations sang it with enthusiasm!) Psalm 91 is one of my go-to scriptures when I'm doubting. I get great comfort from the images. And it gives me comfort to know my loved ones who have "gone on" are "Shining like the sun and resting in the palm of his hand." I will continue to keep Julie in my prayers.

DeleteIt is extremely hard to lose the physical of our loved ones. I am very sorry for her despair.
