Go on over to this link and check out the posting, then follow along or even check back during the week to see others' posts about dragonflies. The challenge lasts a week. It is fun!
The Dragonfly Darlings Challenge shows a few of these creatures today:
You can just see the wonder on the little girl's face. (She came from Lynne, a children's book illustrator, at this blog.)
Would you want this on your back?
Yikes!
Anyway, join in here! I will be checking in on all participants' blogs and leaving a comment.
Beautiful colors:) NOPE to the tattoo! Have a blessed day dear Nancy! HUGS!
ReplyDeleteWonderful dragonfly art, even the tatt, which I would not want. The photo of the beautiful blue one at the top (have long since forgotten their official names) takes me back to my childhood when my mother would see them and call them "witch doctors" and this would scare me out of several years growth.
ReplyDeleteHi Nancy, thank you for visiting me! Silks acrylics can be used on a wide variety of materials, including fabrics.
ReplyDeleteLove them, think my next tattoo has to be a dragonfly too- but a very very tiny one.
ReplyDeleteI would love a tattoo like that but my other half doesn't like them!
ReplyDeleteMy great granny told a scary dragonfly story so I was afraid of them for the longest time. Now I think they look like fairies!
ReplyDeleteI like your background, Nancy!
Very pretty dragonflies, but, I'm with you, don't want one on my back, lol! Love your painting and blog colors Nancy. See you soon!
ReplyDeleteI am totally in love all your illustrations...my heart feels like singing and dancing:)
ReplyDeleteFantastic array of art- the dragonfly always inspires!
ReplyDeleteWonderful little amazing creatures, thanks for sharing your beautiful images!!
