Drawing Pig Feet

Remember the Queen of the Porcines, that picture I was going to sketch and then watercolor?

Their feet were not shown in the photograph used for painting, so I had to find some pictures of pigs' feet for models. Here it is thus far:

Here are some of my models (sans hoof polishes...they all needed pedicures)

    Thanks for your lovely comnent on my blog. I'm glad you enjoyed your trip to Ireland too. I'm looking forward to seeing how your pig painting turns out but as someone who prefers their pigs alive, its sad that this was the only way you could see their feet! I guess most pigs in the States are kept in massive factory farms away from public view?

    That's coming along beautifully! Feet and hands (paws/hooves) are hard to draw I think - yours look good.
