Almost Officially Autumn

A scenic September day in Colorado

Aspen on the Mesa
Aspen by Jumbo Lake
wild daisies
I picked wildflowers and colorful leaves to dry for future crafts

Cosmos to Dry (now under heavy books to preserve)
One cosmos dried and one fresh from the stem

Autumn is a second spring when every leaf's a flower.

  1. Beautiful pictures! I am SO enjoying this time of year:)

You left a comment on my blog about changing my Grandson's name, it is correct! The pictures at the top are Autumn, the second set of pictures are Austin:)

Have a blessed day my friend, HUGS!

  2. These pictures are so beautiful, I've only seen the Aspens in summer. Our Son sent me a pic yesterday of snow on Mt. Princeton-they are hoping for a better ski season.

  3. Oh so beautiful~I also loved the pics of your flowers-they are pretty the way you've arranged them.

  4. Beautiful in Aspen. Your post just reminded me I have some maple leaves pressed last Autumn, they are still a rich dark red.

  5. Beautiful pictures, and I loved the video. I love cosmos! One thing I remember from visiting Colorado is the gorgeous blue skies, somehow more brilliant than other places. Maybe it's the altitude?

Looks like you are a little farther into fall than we are. Our trees are still mostly green.

  6. Oh, our mountains are so majestic! Thank you, Nancy!

  7. Lovely! Very jealous. Nothing pretty in Baltimore!

  8. This is a lovely post! Thank you for sharing the beauty around you. Autumn is my favorite season but S. Cal. is not a tremendous place for viewing fall leaves.

Your comments mean a lot to me. Thank you so much for reading my post, and heaps more hugs and thank you's for leaving a note!
